How We Do It
Core Aeration
One of the best things you can do for your lawn is Aeration and Seeding. Core-Aeration involves pulling small plugs of soil from your lawn in order to reduce compaction, increase nutrient uptake, and provide a space for grass seed, water, and air to make their way into the soil.
Dethatching
Throughout the course of your lawn's life, dead thatch will eventually begin to accumulate. This can be caused by a number of natural and unnatural causes including Harsh summer heat, Excessive Grass clippings not breaking down into soil, Winter/Snow Stress as well as a variety of other causes. Over time, this "Thatch" layer can begin to have a negative effect on your lawn's health. Dethatching works to remove the excess and allow your lawn to "Breathe" again.
Lawn Seeding
Finally, adding grass seed to your lawn adds new grass back to your lawn. When we apply grass seed, we are naturally working to build back density and naturally compete out weeds. We use professional turf-grade Fescues that have been carefully selected for our area. Our Seed is supplied via professional contractor vendors, not big box stores that tend to add fillers, and produce quantity vs quality.
